Danielle and Kevin’s Lily Lake engagement gave me all the feels. The session started off as most do with my couple telling me, “We’re awkward.” Hey, me too! But that is my job; to make you look natural and feel comfortable in front of the camera.
These two flew from Texas to have their engagement photos taken in the beautiful mountains of Estes Park, Colorado. I told these two that they would be the front page of my outfit guide. I mean, look at their perfectly coordinated outfits! The colors they chose went so well with the lush green of Lily Lake.
Here is a little bit of Danielle and Kevin’s story
“Kevin and I met in the Fall of 2012 in college. I worked for his father in the alumni office of our university and when he walked in one day to speak to his dad I just knew there was something special about him and wanted so badly to become his friend. Thankfully we were involved in a few of the same groups and over time became friends.
In the Spring of 2013, I finally told Kevin that I really liked him and we officially started dating on May 19th, 2013. We bonded over rock climbing and a mutual love for traveling. We both graduated with degrees in Psychology and moved to San Antonio when I was accepted into medical school. Kevin is enrolling in school soon to become a funeral director. Our relationship has evolved so much over time and neither one of us is even close to the same person that we were when we first met. It’s crazy how much we have changed yet grown closer together.
Almost 6 years and two cats later, we finally decided it was time to move to the next step. On our 6 year anniversary, Kevin proposed at Disney World and it was one of the best days of our life. I’ve truly found my soul mate and we can’t wait to get married!”
