Timber Ridge Wedding – Keystone Wedding Photographer

Nicolette and Dylan’s Timber Ridge wedding at Keystone Resort was a spectacular Colorado mountain adventure.

Our day began as Dylan and I rode up the first gondola to the spot where Dylan and Nicolette would have their first look. Dylan was so nervous to see Nicolette, he was pacing back and forth in the meadow before she arrived. His anxiousness immediately turned to excitement when he turned and saw her face.

Afterward, we took a second gondola up to take family photos. We were not quite to the top of the mountain yet, but we had a wonderful view of Dillon Reservoir. Then, we took a third gondola up to the top of the resort where Timber Ridge lodge is located. I had the best time getting to know Nicolette and Dylan’s wedding party while we took photos.

We had a sunny afternoon, and a little bit of rain for the ceremony. Honestly, it was the most beautiful ceremony I’ve witnessed. These two wrote their own vows which were so heartfelt and funny. As the ceremony ended, Nicolette and Dylan made their way back down the aisle with the biggest smiles on their faces. About 90 seconds after that, we experienced Colorado’s “bipolar weather” in full effect as hail began pouring down. Just as quickly as the storm came, it cleared up just in time for us to have a little bit of time outside for these two to love on each other.

All the wood cabin feels

The reception space at Timber Ridge has a large cabin feel with some of Colorado’s best views out on the deck. Nicolette and Dylan were able to mingle with all of their guests (make time to do this on your day) during the cocktail hour because they had a first look. They had a smorgasbord of delicious appetizers and dinner was top notch. Thanks, Keystone Resort!

During parent dances, we were all surprised when Dylan and his mother broke out in a choreographed special dance. As their dance ended, everyone was cheering and making their way to the dance floor.
